Netradyne has expanded the AI agent lineup behind its fleet-safety platform, giving U.S. and Canadian customers new tools for driver coaching, incident management and live operational questions. FreightWaves reported October 13 that the update adds a Campaign Agent, a custom agent builder and conversational answers based on current fleet data.
The Campaign Agent lets managers choose safety priorities and driver groups, then handles scoring, daily standings and progress updates. Fleets can compare performance before, during and after a campaign to identify improvement and remaining coaching needs. Existing agents can prepare coaching sessions or manage collision workflows from the first report through resolution.
Managers can also describe a task in plain language, select conditions and schedules, and receive recurring findings through the portal or email. Netradyne said customers created more than 250 agents during the first month after release. The underlying platform draws on more than 30 billion miles and 150 billion minutes of driving data.
For carriers, the practical value depends on disciplined use. Automated rankings should support fair coaching, not replace human review or become a shortcut to discipline. Fleets should document which behaviors are measured, validate alerts before acting and explain the process to drivers. Safety managers also need access controls for fleet-specific information and a method to review unusual results. Used carefully, the tools can reduce report-building time and help supervisors focus on specific, repeatable safety improvements.
