Wreaths Across America has opened 730 nationwide trucking lanes for its 2026 Honor Fleet, giving carriers and professional drivers a way to support deliveries for this year's remembrance events. FleetOwner reported September 24 that more than 30 of the lanes are new. The network will move sponsored veterans' wreaths to more than 6,000 participating locations ahead of National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 19.
The lane count gives fleets room to look for assignments that align with normal operating areas and available drivers. Participation connects trucking directly with ceremonies honoring veterans laid to rest in communities across the country. It can also give carrier teams a defined service project with a specific transportation role, from coordinating pickups and delivery appointments to ensuring wreaths arrive in time for local volunteers to complete placement.

Dispatchers should evaluate the full route, equipment requirements, appointment windows and realistic transit time before committing a tractor and driver. Normal hours-of-service, inspection, licensing and operating requirements continue to apply. Drivers need a complete trip plan that covers weather, parking, fueling and communication contacts, particularly when winter conditions or weekend ceremonies tighten the schedule. Fleets should also confirm who is responsible for loading, seals, paperwork and final delivery acceptance.
